We held our first Tea Dance on the 10th May at the Coronation hall Woodhall Spa. This was the idea of Colin Beardsworth, he was a heart patient and had put the idea to Carol when she met him at Cardiac rehabilitation classes. Colin runs a dancing group and is known as ‘Just Colin’ and he offered his services to the group free of charge. We sold 69 tickets and the afternoon was a great success. Not only did everyone enjoy the dancing and the music but also the sandwiches, cakes and scones. Thanks to all the members who made such delicious cakes. At the end of the day we made a profit of £278. Everyone has decided it will be an annual event.
